Hi, I'm Di
I believe in complexity as a theory of change. I believe in deep listening. I believe in designing the invisible and the visible.
About
I work as a servant leader, UX manager, and service designer, who is skilled in fostering cross-functional collaboration, translating complex concepts into actionable insights, and driving Responsible AI innovation.
I launched Google’s Responsible AI process, the People + AI Guidebook, which was lauded by SVP of AI Jeff Dean as a response to Google's "AI first" strategy. I landed this work by partnering with internal teams like Google Analytics and Shopping, as well as companies like Spotify, Mercari Japan, and Wadhwani AI to incorporate Responsible AI product practices.
Previously, I led the Emerging Tech group at Seattle-based digital agency POP. I currently serve as an advisory board member for Stanford University’s Tech, Ethics, and Public Policy program, which focuses on critically examining the social impact of our decision-making in tech products and platforms.
In my work, I also draw from my strengths as a systems thinker, facilitator, and coach.
